HOLY NAME SOCIETY: Have you ever attended a ‘retreat’? One of the most useful ways of retaining one’s stability, one’s religious balance and sanity in a fast changing world, is that period of recollection, of thinking, and praying that is traditionally called a retreat. Fr. Paul Sabo, moderator of the Diocesan Holy Name Society will be promoting a retreat again this year at Christ the King Seminary. A small group of our parishioners have been attending for several years and find this retreat to be beneficial to their religious growth and health. This year’s retreat will be held from Friday evening September 13th through the morning of Sunday, September 15th, and includes housing, meals and seminars throughout the weekend. Financial arrangements for the retreat can be handled by our parish. For more information or to answer your questions, please call Tom Franczyk at 812-7253.
