Sat – CHRISTMAS FAIR (75th anniversary!)

By now, parishioners should have received the annual Christmas Fair mailing seeking your help in making our 75th St. Aloysius Gonzaga Christmas Fair a success. Father Walter Gonter, our first Pastor, must be smiling down on us from heaven as we continue the great tradition he began shortly after the parish was established in 1940. Christmas Fair Leadership asks once again your help. Could you help create Theme Baskets one evening a week with the women of the Parish? Is it possible for you to sell a few more raffle tickets? They make a great Thanksgiving Gift to a family member or friend – just stuff them in the greeting card. Included in the mailing was a donation card seeking a Boy’s Toy, Girl’s Toy, and other items necessary for our Christmas Booths. If not sure what to donate, a cash gift will enable us to purchase items for various booths that may need more prizes. On the day of the Fair, Saturday, December 1, Noon to 6PM, help is always needed to staff a booth, run a raffle, welcome our dinner guests, serve the food, clean the tables,. Your volunteering for a couple of hours is always an extremely important way to assure the success of this year’s Christmas Fair. Just call Kathie or Mary at the rectory or Cookie and Ron, Chair-Couple, and let them know how you are able to help at this year’s Fair…And if you do volunteer, can’t you just picture Father Gonter smiling down because once again the community and friends of St. Aloysius Gonzaga have come together to create another wonderful Christmas Fair!
